Looking for a job can be frustrating, exhausting, challenging and exhilarating...once you finally receive that job offer. To help smooth out those bumps in the process of going from "looking" to "hired" our human resources department has created this step-by-step guide to help you go from being dissatisfied with your current job to looking forward to coming to work every day.
Step 1: Browse our Careers web page at www.renalventures.com/careers for the job opening that is the right fit for you.
Step 2: Look through the listings to find a position that fits your qualifications and location. We have locations in Arkansas, Colorado, Iowa, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Texas, and West Virginia. Our jobs include diverse positions from nursing to accounting and finance to IT to patient care technicians.
Step 3: Once you find your desired position, apply online with an updated resume. A cover letter and references are optional, but preferred. To learn more about the best practices for resumes and cover letters, check out Monster.com's Resource Center. If you don't find the exact job you're looking for, don't panic as we may have an opening in the future. Use the "Create a Job Agent" feature to be notified when a job posting that meets your criteria becomes available.
Step 4: After applying for a position, HR will determine if you are a good fit for the job. If you are, one of our recruiters or hiring managers will contact you for a phone interview. Be sure to put your best "ear" forward!
Step 5: Once the phone interview has concluded, HR will decide if they would like to do call you in for an in-person interview. Usually this is the department manager who will supervise that employee. If the hiring manager feels that you are a good fit for the position and the department/location, you will be invited for an in-person interview. Buff up your interview skills and check out these tips. You can't over prepare for an interview! Keep in mind that you are interviewing to see if RVM is a good fit for you, too.
Step 6: Assuming the in-person interview goes well and RVM is ready to close the deal and hire you, you will receive an offer letter and will be asked to complete a drug screen. RVM will conduct a background check. This process can take anywhere from one to three weeks.
Step 7: Our employee on-boarding system is called "Red Carpet" and you will be assigned tasks to complete, such as agreeing to certain policies and procedures. HR will let you know when you have new tasks assigned to you or if additional information is needed.
Step 8: Congratulations on starting your first day! You will have your picture taken for your access badge and your new department/team/location will welcome you with breakfast or lunch to celebrate you starting your new career with RVM.
