Exceptional Care

Renal Ventures believes developing a meaningful relationship with patients is integral to providing exceptional care. Whether you choose outpatient care at one of our centers or home care, our staff is committed to helping manage your dialysis needs and providing the highest quality care.

Physicians – Nephrologists

Every Renal Ventures Dialysis Center is overseen and managed by a Medical Director – a physician specializing in nephrology (the science that deals with the kidneys, their functions or diseases).

As a Renal Ventures patient, you will see your nephrologist regularly while in the dialysis center. During this time, the doctor will talk with you and review your progress and needs as well as answer your questions.

Nursing Staff

Oversight for your care at Renal Ventures Dialysis Centers is provided by Registered Nurses (RNs), who will provide you with friendly, personalized care specific to your situation.

Registered Nurses are supported by Certified Patient Care Technicians who are there to help provide your dialysis treatment, monitor your vital signs and administer medications and fluids during your treatment. Also on staff to assist with patient care are Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs).

Biomedical Technicians

These members of the care team are technical specialists who ensure all of the dialysis machines and ancillary equipment are working correctly and according to strict specifications. Their expertise and support help Renal Ventures deliver safe and comfortable dialysis treatment.   

Dietitians

Your nutrition has a big impact on how you feel and your overall health. A balanced intake of sodium, water and phosphorus (an electrolyte abundant in some foods) as well as taking in the right levels of protein and vitamins can impact your health and how well you do with your dialysis treatment.

Renal Ventures dietitians are an integral part of your care team. They work with you as your guide to good food and health. Your dietitian will visit with you often and is always available to answer questions.

Social Workers

Dialysis treatment is a major lifestyle change that will impact you and your family. Renal Ventures’ social workers are available to provide support and advice to make dialysis a manageable part of your life.

Our social workers are there to help you adjust to life on dialysis as well as teach you more about kidney disease and your treatment options. They also offer guidance to help you make informed decisions on insurance, financial assistance programs and connect you with additional resources.
